1 Overview

PropScored ("we," "us," "our") operates propscored.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By signing up for PropScored or using our website, you agree to the practices described here. If you disagree with any part of this policy, please do not use our services.

Short version: We collect the minimum information needed to deliver your leads and run your subscription. We don't sell your data. We don't use tracking-heavy analytics. Payment details go directly to Stripe — we never see your card number.

2 What We Collect

Information you provide

  • Account details: name, email address, phone number, brokerage name
  • Market preferences: your target zip codes or neighborhoods
  • Communications: any messages you send us via email or the contact form

Information collected automatically

  • IP address and browser type — collected by our hosting provider (Netlify) for security and abuse prevention
  • Form submission data — contact form submissions are stored by Netlify Forms

Payment information

All payment processing is handled by Stripe. When you enter your card details, that information goes directly to Stripe's servers over an encrypted connection. We never receive, store, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or bank account details. We do store your Stripe Customer ID and subscription status in our CRM.

3 How We Use It

  • Deliver your leads — your name, email, and market preferences are used to identify and route leads matching your criteria
  • Manage your subscription — email and billing status are used to process payments, send invoices, and manage account changes
  • Transactional emails — payment confirmations, lead delivery notifications, and important account updates
  • Customer support — responding to your questions, cancellation requests, and complaints
  • Fraud prevention and legal compliance — as required to prevent abuse or comply with applicable law

We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral tracking, or selling to other businesses.

4 Third Parties

We use a small set of trusted service providers to operate PropScored. Each receives only the data needed for their specific function.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of PropScored or others.

5 Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your subscription is active, plus up to two years after cancellation to handle any billing disputes or support requests.

Payment records (invoices, transaction history) are retained for seven years as required for tax and accounting purposes. This data is held by Stripe and cannot be deleted earlier.

Contact form submissions are retained by Netlify for up to 30 days before automatic deletion.

You can request deletion of your account data at any time — see Your Rights below.

6 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate information
  • Delete — request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements for billing records)
  • Opt out — unsubscribe from non-essential communications at any time
  • Data portability — request your data in a machine-readable format

To exercise any of these rights, email stephen@propscored.com with your request. We'll respond within 10 business days.

Note: deleting your account data does not automatically cancel your subscription. Cancel first per the process in Section 5 of our Terms, then request data deletion if desired.

7 Security

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified — the highest level of payment security certification available.

Access to our CRM and systems is restricted to authorized personnel only. We use strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of it.

8 Cookies

We use minimal cookies. Our website does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or behavioral analytics tools.

Stripe may set cookies in your browser as part of fraud detection and payment processing. These are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy.

Our hosting provider Netlify may set session cookies for form handling. These expire when you close your browser.

You can block all cookies in your browser settings without affecting most of our website's functionality. Blocking Stripe's cookies may impact the checkout process.

9 Policy Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll send an email to active subscribers at least 14 days before the change takes effect.

Continued use of PropScored after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
